How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in Science & Technology Magnet High School (STMHS).  We are proud to call ourselves "the school of discovery," providing challenging STEM strands in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. We hope you envision yourself in our classrooms, playing on our athletic fields, and being an involved student scholar at STMHS!

Wednesday, November 5, 12, or 19, 2014
6:00 to 7:00 PM Presentation

Saturday, December 6, 2014 -  9:00 to 11:00 AM
 Sunday, December 7, 2014 - 1:00 to 3:00 PM

  Once the three tasks above have been completed, the students name will be entered into the STMHS lottery scheduled for the middle of January 2015.  When the lottery is complete, students will receive admission status by mail.  The students receiving a "You're In" acceptance letter will have approximately two weeks to return their completed registration paper work.  Upon receipt of the fully completed registration packet to the STMHS admissions office, the student will then become officially registered as a member of the STMHS student body - class of 2019! 

For the students who receive unfortunate information that they were not selected through the lottery, we ask that you remain hopeful because not all students accepted will make STMHS their high school option for the next four years.  Once additional seats become available the admissions office will accept another student from the applicant pool.
